🏡 House Rules – The Midland Cottage 1. Check-In / Check-Out Check - In • Check-in: 3:00 PM or (Mutually agreed upon time) • Check-out: 11:00 AM • Early check-in or late check-out may be available with prior approval. • Baby Pack & Play in 2nd hallway bedroom closet. • Feel free to park in garage. (We do not issue clickers out though) Check-Out • Run dishwasher if needed before you leave. • Put all linens and bed coverings in the laundry hamper located in the closet of that bedroom before you leave. • Place all used towels in bathrooms. • Our cleaning staff will take the trash out. If you do need to take trash out during your stay there are dumpsters located in the alley behind the house. The code for the lock on the gate is 3329. 2. Pets & Parking • Dogs are welcome! Please pay the $75 pet fee per stay (goes directly to our cleaning staff). • Please keep pets off furniture and beds. • Large Dog Kennel in the garage. Dog Bowls located in laundry room. • Pick up after your pet in the yard before checkout. • No aggressive dog breeds. • No street parking from 8 PM to 4 PM during weekdays — violators may be ticketed or the city even occasionally tow. 3. Smoking • No smoking or vaping inside the house. • Smoking is fine outside—please use ashtrays and dispose of butts properly. 4. Noise • Please respect neighbors—quiet hours are 11 PM – 7 AM. • No parties or large gatherings unless approved in advance. 5. Hot Tub & Outdoor Area • Use at your own risk. Children must be supervised at all times. • No glass in or around the hot tub. • Close the lid after each use to maintain temperature and cleanliness. • Please read the page that shows how to open spa lid, and test chlorine levels. 6. Game Room & Equipment • Enjoy all arcade games and entertainment equipment responsibly. • Please don’t move the machines or unplug cords. 7. Security & Safety • Lock all doors and windows when leaving the property. • Cameras are located only outside for security purposes. 8. Guests • Only registered guests may stay overnight. • Visitors are welcome during the day. 9. Damages • Please report any damage or issues immediately so we can fix them quickly.
